THE ADVANTAGES OF LEASING

There are several advantages to considering leasing for your next vehicle. Among them, the following should be mentioned:

  • Change your car more often: With monthly payments spread over a shorter period, you can drive a new vehicle more frequently. Since manufacturers are constantly innovating and technology keeps evolving, it's tempting to change your vehicle more often. 
  • Lower monthly payments: Lease payments are usually lower than the payments for purchasing the same vehicle. If you're looking for monthly payments that better fit your budget, leasing is an advantageous option because you only pay a fraction of the purchase price of your Mazda car, SUV, or truck. 
  • Pay only taxes on the monthly payment (rather than paying taxes on the full purchase price when financing). This is a great way to save on your monthly expenses. 
  • Mazda Financial Services (SFM) does not charge any vehicle return fees and offers you the best options at the end of your lease. 
  • Flexible terms of up to 60 months on selected models. The solutions offered by SFM are flexible and tailored to your needs. 
  • Have more cash on hand for investment or spending. Leasing a vehicle allows you to have more money in your pockets for other personal projects.
  • At the end of your lease, you have four options:
  • Lease or finance a new Mazda vehicle and take advantage of our owner renewal discount. This loyalty option provides you with significant discounts on your next Mazda vehicle in the showroom. 
  • Finance a certified used Mazda vehicle and benefit from our owner renewal discount. If you're interested in a used Mazda vehicle, you could take advantage of the end of your lease and become the owner of a model that better suits your current needs. 
  • The last but not least option is to purchase the vehicle for the predetermined price stated in your lease contract, plus applicable taxes and fees. 
  • Return your current vehicle.

To be able to lease or finance a new Mazda vehicle or a certified used Mazda vehicle, it is important to first return the vehicle you are currently driving for inspection.

Regarding this, during the last 45 days of your lease contract, an advisor will contact you to schedule an appointment for the inspection of your vehicle. This inspection will be conducted by an independent company, at no cost to you. Subsequently, you will receive a detailed report on the condition of your vehicle, along with any expected charges for excessive wear, if applicable. You will then have the option to repair your vehicle before the lease contract's maturity date. If you have your vehicle repaired at your Mazda dealership, no further inspection will be required. However, if you have your vehicle repaired elsewhere, a second inspection will be mandatory, this time at your expense. If you have purchased Mazda Appearance Protection Insurance at the time of signing your lease contract, we invite you to review the provisions of this insurance. To fully benefit from the advantages of this insurance policy, we strongly suggest that you contact your dealership for a preliminary visual inspection of your vehicle to assess if certain elements covered by the insurance can be corrected before the final vehicle inspection.

We also understand that your Mazda has provided you with many pleasures and adventures, and you may wish to keep it. If you decide to keep your vehicle, you can purchase it or refinance it for the predetermined amount stated in your lease contract, plus any balance due under the lease, relevant taxes and fees, safety inspection charges, environmental protection fees, and ownership transfer fees. To purchase your Mazda, simply visit your Mazda dealership and complete the payment through their establishment.
